New Year 2011

Well 2011 has arrived and this is the first blog post of this year, some new years resolutions to keep on with uni and try my best to get all assignments completed and handed in, keep at going to the gym and trying to build up amongst making most of the year and what life has to offer. I am applying for the New York volunteering trip with uni and i just hope i get shortlisted at least, itll be a good experience.
Im gonna get a new laptop shortly much faster than this one i currently have and a new DSLR will soon also be on the cards.

The End of 2010

The end of another year is passing by this year has gone rather quick, there have been a lot of ups and downs this year and i hope 2011 will be a better year this year has been bad year for me apart from a few bits, 3rd january Leeds beat manchester united 1-0 in fa cup and 8th may 2010 promotion to the championship forever in my memory as a leeds fan.I withdrew from my university course because it got abit too much to handle but i returned in september and things are steady hopefully the new year will give a burst of life and i will get on with it and pass the second year and get onto final year.
I even hope that i will get onto the volunteering trip to New York, USA, i really hope so ive been wanting to go there all my life. This year the good things have been hard to find.

2011 im gonna get through my 2nd year at uni and not care what people think of me and hopefully ill get my trip to new york :) and have a bit of luck in my life.

I went to the pixie lott gig last night and thought she was absolutley stunning, was well worth the money to see such a talented young woman, shes just amazing.

Madness and Uni Modules update log

The snow and ice has all disappeared but has been forecast to return for xmas, i have finished university for xmas now but still have a mountain of work to complete for deadlines in january.
The IMD/ Visual Communications deadline i am well on track to meet with good marks the website is coming along nicely i am about to get my galleries slideshow running after a few problems with actionscript.
Well for the vis comms module creating the Portfolio of promotional material i am creating a brochure in InDesign that shows a range of my photos for sale on canvas etc with all relevant information, as well as buisness card designs and a range of other stationary products, also to make a good possible 50% mark i am gonna design some t shirts aswell and maybe cups/mugs.

Anyways i went to see Madness in Leeds last sunday, below are some shots of the gig, see my flickr page for more photos.

22 Days till xmas

Its 22 days till xmas the snow is still here, i have a few more photos to upload, i have also updated my flickr with some more wintery photos and will do the same for the facebook page although i do want to get rid of that page and restart it over.Im nearly saved up for my DSLR now so cant wait till january to finally get it and get some good photographs.I am off to the madness gig at Leeds o2 academy on sunday 5th December so i will be definatley getting some photos at that and then the pixie lott gig on 16th december, i cant wait i hope none of them are cancelled.

November Update

The Snow has returned to Yorkshire and has started to cause mayhem once more, winter come early and more to come aswell. Im going to be heading to Roundhay Park to take a few photos in the snow hopefully i will get some good shots, im posting a few ive taken on my camera phone which is 5mp so its quite good shot quality.

Just thought these two photos pretty cool with the sun in sky shining through clouds just captured a good moment. The image below was taken on Saturday 27/11/2010 from near work of the sunset just before 4pm.
